TOP PMO RELATED CERTIFICATIONS

The Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) focus is on aligning projects, programmes and change with organisational strategy. The certification provides evidence that individuals possess the advanced skills required to manage organisations' portfolios.

To be eligible to take the PfMP certification, individuals have to meet specified educational, professional and portfolio management criteria. Individuals will submit evidence of meeting this criteria. The evidence is then reviewed and where satisfactory, approval provided for individuals to undertake the examination. Individuals who are successful in passing the examination obtain the certification and are eligible to use the PfMP designation.

Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O) provides a set of guidance to help organisations create the appropriate level of support structure to manage different types of change. P3O facilitates the organisation's ability to make decisions and to realise business benefits.

There are 2 certification levels for P3O:

• A Foundation certification that equips individuals with the knowledge to work in organisations' P3O models. There is no prerequisite for this certification.
• A Practitioner certification that equips individuals to be able to set up and/or manage an appropriate P30 office for organisations.

Certifications are via exams which can be done via self study or via accredited training providers.

Management of Portfolios (MoP) consists of principles, techniques and practices to help organisations in successfully adopting portfolio management. MoP's key focus is on enabling the choosing of and the implementation of the right projects for organisations.

There are 2 certification levels for MoP:

• A Foundation certification that provides sufficient knowledge for individuals to work in a Portfolio office. There is no prerequisite for this level.
• A Practitioner certification that provides the knowledge necessary to apply tailor the guidance and to apply it to real live portfolios. The foundation certification is a pre-requisite to the Practitioner certification.

Certifications are via exams which can be done via self study or via accredited training providers.
