The Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) focus is on aligning projects, programmes and change with organisational strategy. The certification provides evidence that individuals possess the advanced skills required to manage organisations' portfolios.
To be eligible to take the PfMP certification, individuals have to meet specified educational, professional and portfolio management criteria. Individuals will submit evidence of meeting this criteria. The evidence is then reviewed and where satisfactory, approval provided for individuals to undertake the examination. Individuals who are successful in passing the examination obtain the certification and are eligible to use the PfMP designation.
Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O) provides a set of guidance to help organisations create the appropriate level of support structure to manage different types of change. P3O facilitates the organisation's ability to make decisions and to realise business benefits.
There are 2 certification levels for P3O:
